The leaves are changing colors, the air is getting crisp, and it’s just about time to gather the family around the table for an unforgettable meal. Looking for a new twist on some classic Thanksgiving dishes? From green bean casserole, to rice pudding we’ve collected 4 of our favorite recipes to share with you!

TASTY GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE

Prep time: 25 minutes

Serves: 8

 

Ingredients:

1 lb. fresh green beans
1 pouch Tasty Bite® Spice & Simmer™ Thai Green Curry
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup vegetable broth
1 pack crunchy onions

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a casserole dish, mix green beans and Tasty Bite® Spice & Simmer™ Thai Green Curry marinade sauce.
  3. Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add Tasty Bite® Spice & Simmer™ Thai Green Curry spices and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add in onion and mushrooms to pan and sauté for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Add Tasty Bite® Spice & Simmer™ Thai Green Curry simmer sauce and heat for 3 minutes.
  6. Pour sauce on green beans and top with crunchy onions.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes.

 

 

 

TASTY CHANNA MASHED POTATOES

Prep time: 25 minutes

Serves: 4

 

Ingredients:

1 lb. potatoes, peeled
1 small onion, diced
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1/2 cup vegetabe stock
1 pouch Tasty Bite® Channa Masala
Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Directions:

  1. Cover potatoes with water and boil in medium sauce pan for 15 minutes or until tender. Strain and reserve.
  2. Heat oil in same pan on medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Sautee for 5 minutes.
  3. Add potatoes, vegetable stock and Tasty Bite® Channa Masala to pan and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mash ingredients together.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!

TASTY VEGAN RICE PUDDING

Prep time: 10 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

1 pouch Tasty Bite® Basmati Rice
2 cups coconut milk
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup almonds, sliced
1/2 cup agave
2 cups granola

Directions:

  1. Heat Tasty Bite® Basmati Rice in microwave for 1 minute.
  2. Mix Tasty Bite® Basmati Rice, coconut milk, raisins, almonds and agave in bowl.
  3. Divide rice mix in 4 small bowls and top with granola.
  4. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Enjoy!

TASTY VEGGIE STUFFING

Prep time: 30 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 red pepper, diced
4 cups bread, cubed (preferably day old)
1 pouch Tasty Bite® Kashmir Spinach
1/2 cup vegetable broth
Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat olive oil in large pan over medium heat.
  3. Sauté onion, celery and red pepper for 5 minutes or until tender.
  4. Add bread, Tasty Bite® Kashmir Spinach and vegetable stock. Turn off heat. Mix together with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer to baking pan and bake in oven for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
