What is a Buddha Bowl?

Buddha Bowls are basically a bowl filled with rice (or some other tasty grain), topped with steamed or sautéed vegetables, and drizzled with a savory sauce. The more colorful you can make them, the better (both for the look of the bowl and for your health).

Our Indian-Spiced Buddha Bowl with Channa Masala Sauce is topped with sautéed broccoli, sweet potatoes, and sweet yellow peppers. Talk about colorful!

These vegetables are served over Tasty Bite’s Organic Thai Lime Rice. The sauce is made by combining Tasty Bite’s ready-to-eat Channa Masala with some lemon juice in a food processor. Simply pulse until smooth and drizzle over your Buddha Bowl for added flavor, nutrients, and appeal!

Treat yourself to an indulgent, delicious, and oh-so-easy lunch today. The good news is this recipe serves two so you can enjoy the leftovers for dinner…or lunch tomorrow!
