- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water, lukewarm
- 2 tsp sugar or honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Toppings
- Tasty Bite Butter Chicken Sauce
- 4 slices of Boar's Head 3 Pepper Cheese
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1–2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 1.5 cups Colby Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled paneer
- Hot honey
Jalapeño Scallion Sauce
- 1 jalapeño
- 1 stalk of scallions
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 cloves garlic
- Squeeze of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp ranch seasoning
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Steps
Jalapeño Scallion Sauce
- Add everything into a blender and blend until it’s smooth. Set aside until the pizza is done.
Deep Dish Pizza Dough
- To a large mixing bowl, add yeast, sugar, and water. Wait 5 minutes, then add the bread flour, salt, and oil.
- Mix everything together and knead the dough until it forms into a ball or until you have a soft and elastic dough. It will be a bit sticky, so add a tablespoon of flour and continue to knead.
- Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it rest on the counter for 30 minutes.
- Brush some olive oil onto a 9×13 deep baking pan, greasing the bottom and sides well.
- Add the dough to the pan and stretch it out from the center to the edges until it forms a large rectangle that fills the pan.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Add 2 tablespoons of Tasty Bite sauce, layer with sliced spicy cheese, peppers, and onions. Sprinkle on the grated Colby Jack cheese and add jalapeños to the top along with a few rows of the Tasty Bite sauce.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the edges and bottom are golden brown and crispy. Drizzle with hot honey and jalapeño scallion sauce. Enjoy!
