Chickpea Tikka Masala Veggie Burgers

    Chickpea Tikka Masala Veggie Burgers

    Ingredients

    1 Can of chickpeas
    1 pouch Tasty Bite Chickpea Tikka Masala
    ½ pouch of Tasty Bite Basmati Rice
    1 Teaspoon salt
    1 Teaspoon garam masala
    1 teaspoon curry powder
    ¼ cup breadcrumbs
    Brioche buns
    Any other toppings you’d like

    Method

    1. Open, drain and rinse one can of chickpeas then place in large mixing bowl

    2. Mash chickpeas with the back of a fork or potato masher

    3. Add one pouch of Tasty Bite Chickpea Tikka Masala and ½ pouch of Tasty Bite Basmati Rice to the bowl

    4. Add salt, garam masala, curry powder and breadcrumbs to bowl

    5. Mix well with clean hands or a spoon

    6. Use ½ cup measuring cup to measure out four veggie burgers

    7. Sear them in a skillet over medium heat for three minutes on each side

    8. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes

    9. Serve on a toasted brioche bun with whatever toppings you’d like!
